The BlackBerry Style 9670 has just shown up in what appears to be a Sprint database leak, and given that it just received FCC approval earlier in the month, we’d say this is all lining up nicely for a near-term release on one of America’s most well-known CDMA carriers. As the story goes, these database slips usually happen just weeks before the official public release of a phone, and we’re guessing that both RIM and Sprint would love to have this out and about before the holidays. March 23rd, 2010 jedwan i have done so much stuff to my phone i really dont know where to begin, but i can tell you that i have flashed this phone many times. anyways i noticed yesterday that the youtube app on my tilt 2 would not work yesterday, so i flashed the rom and after the flash i played one video, but since that one video played it hasnt been able to play anything, and i made no changes at all so i flashed again to a newer rom that just came out a few days ago, and it did the same thing, it would play that one video then not play anymore basicaly, you click on a video and it says connecting for maybe 5 minutes and then says “failed to connect. please try again.” i can use opera and real player, wit hno prblem, but i kinda liked the youtube app. i did search this issue all 99% of my results lead me to iphone and blackberrys..uhg any help would be appreciated. March 16th, 2010 jedwan I have downloaded & installed the new version of m.youtube. Seems to work very well logging onto that site & playing a video off of it. My Q is, someone sends me an email w/ a youtube attschment. I click om the link to play it & realplayer seems to be trying to play it on my Tilt. Says it is an unsupported file type (or something to that effect). I don’t see where I even have Realplayer installed. How do I get the video to play as a Youtube file???

Google’s had dedicated YouTube apps available for both S60 and Windows Mobile for a solid year now, and today they’ve announced re-upped versions with a handful of new features that help ‘em keep pace with their built-in Android and iPhone counterparts. The biggest change is the addition of support for your individual user account, meaning you can check your favorite videos, subscriptions, and playlists on the road. You’ve also got a new home screen layout that’s supposedly optimized for larger screens — a trend that’s certainly picked up steam since these apps were initially introduced — and search suggestions as you type (the suggestions for “engadget” are rather fascinating, by the way).
