LG BL40 – Does This Work with AT&T 3G?
November 1st, 2010
admin I have read conflicting reports indicating the LG BL40 works in 3G areas. The Canadian version for TELUS supposedly is compatible with AT&T & T-Mobile 3G networks while other experts say that 2G works fine but you can’t use AT&T 3G. Has anyone purchased this phone & been able to use AT&T 3G? Many thanks in advance.
LG Encore (GT550) – USB Data Cable – Special or Ubiquitous ?
October 31st, 2010
admin So, I need to get a USB data cable to connect my new LG Encore to my PC. Isn’t it just a standard USB cable with a micro-USB connector at the end? Do I really need something “special” for LG phones? I had bought a USB charging-only cable from the AT&T Accessories store, and it works fine for charging the phone. No problem there. …But, this raises another question, will any USB data cable I get that works properly to transfer data to/from my LG phone also implicitly charge as well? Thanks, everyone! -jts

LG Xenon MicroSD problem
March 17th, 2010
admin I have an LG Xenonand currently have a 1GB MicroSD card that works fine. I just acquired a 2GB MicroSD card that works fine in every card reader I have inserted it into, and even works fine in a Samsung Blackjack II. When I insert this card into my Xenon, the phone does not recognize the card at all. If I go to any menu options that have to do with the memory card it says there is no card. It even does the same thing if I try to access the card from my PC through the USB cable. The 1GB card can even be read through the USB cable. Any ideas or suggestions to make this card work in this phone? All the tech specs I can find online say the phone supports cards up to 16GB but no luck with this card on this phone.
