I got my Pure replacement today and have not been able to log into Marketplace after installing it. Keep getting a message Marketplace could not connect to server. Is anyone else having issues connecting to Marketplace?

No Comments »Tilt2 button lock?
February 20th, 2010 jedwan Has anyone found a way to lock all the hardware buttons (but not the touchscreen) on a Tilt2 when using the Windows Lock? When the phone is locked and in my pocket or phone case, and I receive a call, most of the time a button (Send/End) gets pressed while I’m pulling out the phone. I haven’t found a way to lock those hardware buttons to prevent an accidental press. The only way I want to answer the phone is via the touchscreen slider. Also, when Windows locked, the volume buttons are still active. Again, sometime the volume gets accidentally turned all the way down until I don’t hear the ringer. I am comfortable making registry changes and installing cabs, if anyone knows a good solution. I am NOT looking for a full locking applcation like S2U2 or DeviceLock. I like the Windows lock, I just wished it locked all the buttons too. FlopShot

February 19th, 2010 admin Why is it that sometimes test messages and / or email s sometimes open full screen, with the send button being at the the bottom left, and sometimes they open in a MINI window with a send softkey to the left of the reading pane? Its only troublesome sometimes because in the second scenario, that send key at the BOTTOM left is now the "close" Key and if youre not careful to be wary of this your message closes instead of sends…..

February 19th, 2010 jedwan On the tilt, you could edit the "My Text Messages" to say whatever you wanted. I’m refering to those messages in there like "I’m running late", "I’ll be right there" etc. Has anyone figured out how to change these on the tilt 2? Or is it not possible?

February 19th, 2010 admin I’ve been looking everywhere on my Tilt2 and can’t seem to find where to turn off the feature that lets me know who is calling. Every time someone calls me my phone announces who is calling while ringing. Can someone help point me in the right direction on how to turn off the announce feature?

February 19th, 2010 jedwan I need help figuring out how to configure connection to Media Net thru the ATT network and not thru W-Fi on this. Tried the configuration for what somene posted on the KU 990, the first Viewty but it is not working on my Viewty Smart. I’m getting frustrated with this that I just want to return this phone and risk the restocking fee. Anyone, pleeaaaase help??? Thanks.

February 18th, 2010 admin I’ve been searching all around the internet for a solution. I’ve had my tilt for a little over a year now. Its been working fine until yesterday I randomly got a message on my phone saying "sim card is missing. You can make emergency phone calls if your service provides it" While I looked around online I’ve found it might be the sim card. I went to a AT&T store and got a new sim card, put it in and it still says the same message. I’ve even seen some posts say grab a eraser and erase the brass piece on the back of the sim card(weird…I know) tried that and that didn’t work. Tried placing a piece of paper between the metal bracket and that didn’t work. I’ve also looked through these forums for an answer and still haven’t found one. So i’m wondering, has anybody else had this problem with their tilt? and if so how did you fix it?

February 18th, 2010 jedwan Hey everyone, Is there anyone experiencing a delay or sometimes a no notification sound on the incoming sms? I have been experiencing that quite a bit. The phone will notifiy the income sms until after I press the wakeup button. Hope you guys dont experience the same thing as I am.
