To reply to this post I like my Freestyle. I have a 1000 txts plan, and no internet. Granted it does have its tech problems, but Im sure every phone out there has some type of problems with it, nothing is ever perfect. I havent ever recieved up to 6 duplicate messages, 1-2 at the most. Ive always recieved a text notification and voice mail notification. The only time my phone has crashed is when installing a java game (once). I think it all depends on how you use it and what you use it for. If you dont get internet I think you will be fine, granted I cant comment of the internet portion of this becasue I dont have it, but I will say I enjoy the phone nonetheless. I dont text that often so Im not worried too much about the duplicate texts, and If I see myself starting to go over eventually, Ill just switch to unlimited. I just keep all my texts so I can see my text count. Ive had my phone for about 2 wks.
