Good news for Palm Pre 2 owners of the Big Red variety, the endless breath-holding can finally stop — webOS 2.1 is finally making its way to your handset. Released back in March to the global unlocked masses, this update to HP’s platform brings along voice-dialing, email and security fixes, messaging backup (sorry, no MMS), and a Sense 3.0-like charging display that’ll float your photos, agenda, or simply keep the time. That should be enough to tide you over until the Pre 3 hits VZW’s stores, no? Die-hard Palm OS fanatics, chin up, your Classic emulator’s now only ten steps away . LG VU Plus, how to protect photos from deletion?
June 19th, 2011
jedwan I thought if I moved some of my photos to my file manager or other files that I could then delete them from the camera album but it deleted them from both places. Is there any way of moving them to one place and deleting from another without completely deleting them? Or protect them somehow? Thanks

Droid 3 details leaked: dual-core processor, 4-inch qHD screen, no LTE?
May 24th, 2011
jedwan You’ve probably already seen the leaked pictures of the Droid 3, but what you really want to know is what’s going on underneath that chrome trim. TechnoBuffalo claims to have the inside scoop and it sounds like the latest landscape slider from Motorola is packing a number of nice improvements. According to a tipster the screen has been upgraded to a 4-inch qHD panel and inside is one of those fancy dual-cores all the cool phones are rockin’ these days — presumably of the Tegra 2 variety like its Droid X2 cousin. As spied in the photos it also has a new 5-row keyboard layout and front facing camera for video calls, while the rear-facing shooter is getting bumped to 8 megapixels. There is one disappointing, but not entirely shocking, detail though — the Droid 3 will lack LTE. We can’t confirm these specs, but they’re perfectly logical assumptions and raise no alarms and no surprises. Samsung Exhibit 4G for T-Mobile caught on camera, passes through FCC
May 8th, 2011
jedwan Someone left a little gift for the folks at TmoNews — spy shots featuring the Gingerbread-toting Samsung Exhibit 4G, which also just passed through the FCC as the SGH-T759. We can tell from the photos and fillings that the T759 packs both front- and rear-facing cameras (the latter with an LED flash), a microSD card slot, Android 2.3.3 with a TouchWiz veneer, and an HSPA+ radio. It’s been suggested that the Exhibit could possibly have specs that line up with the rumored Galaxy S II Mini , including a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 1.4GHz processor — according to TmoNews , that CPU might be the older ARM11 variety, which could help explain the underwhelming Quadrant score in the images. Price and availability are up in the air, but we’d err on the side of cheap and soon. Check out the source for a few more pics. Re: SD card/ folder

jedwan Is this a picture you took with the phone’s camera? Are you sure it isn’t already on the sd card? With a file explorer (either pre-installed or downloaded from the market), open to view the sd card contents. You should have a DCIM folder on the sd card and the photos would be stored under folders within that folder. You can also use the file explorer to move files around the sd card without connecting it to a computer.
