Haven’t willfully submitted to the CLIQ’s new update yet? Well, you might want to hold off, because it looks like the new code is causing more heartache than good. A variety of reports on T-Mobile’s official support forums echo the same overarching complaint, which is that messaging is a disaster zone ever since version 1.3.18 took hold — long freezes when using the messaging app or widget, messages not getting sent or being sent multiple times — basically all the things you really don’t want to happen on a device that touts its social connectedness. For what it’s worth, we’ve personally seen this happen on a CLIQ since the update, so we know there’s something going on here; T-Mobile says that the complaints have been “forwarded… to the appropriate people,” so hopefully we’ll see some resolution soon. In the meantime, users experiencing issues are advised to not perform a master reset — important advice, considering that’s one of the first fixes many users might entertain. Is there any possible way to make color categories viewable on the Tilt 2 Calendar? Something like Outlook has. Thanks.
I can send an mp3 via MMS to my LG VU. It opens and immediately plays, but there is no option to save it. When it’s done playing…it’s gone. Does anyone know how to save it to my audio/ringtones?
Are there any gps programs for the tilt that a better than att navigator? Are there any that are free and don’t cost data useage?
Has anyone found a way to lock all the hardware buttons (but not the touchscreen) on a Tilt2 when using the Windows Lock? When the phone is locked and in my pocket or phone case, and I receive a call, most of the time a button (Send/End) gets pressed while I’m pulling out the phone. I haven’t found a way to lock those hardware buttons to prevent an accidental press. The only way I want to answer the phone is via the touchscreen slider. Also, when Windows locked, the volume buttons are still active. Again, sometime the volume gets accidentally turned all the way down until I don’t hear the ringer. I am comfortable making registry changes and installing cabs, if anyone knows a good solution. I am NOT looking for a full locking applcation like S2U2 or DeviceLock. I like the Windows lock, I just wished it locked all the buttons too. FlopShot
Why is it that sometimes test messages and / or email s sometimes open full screen, with the send button being at the the bottom left, and sometimes they open in a MINI window with a send softkey to the left of the reading pane? Its only troublesome sometimes because in the second scenario, that send key at the BOTTOM left is now the "close" Key and if youre not careful to be wary of this your message closes instead of sends…..

I find my phone constantly going into sleep mode, I’ve tried setting the backlite think that might help it just keeps trying to save the battery. Any ideas? I’ve found other little things finger sensors not working… LG suggest pulling battery while on to reset. That did help for the finger Sensor.
On the tilt, you could edit the "My Text Messages" to say whatever you wanted. I’m refering to those messages in there like "I’m running late", "I’ll be right there" etc. Has anyone figured out how to change these on the tilt 2? Or is it not possible?

I’ve been looking everywhere on my Tilt2 and can’t seem to find where to turn off the feature that lets me know who is calling. Every time someone calls me my phone announces who is calling while ringing. Can someone help point me in the right direction on how to turn off the announce feature?
