LG Neon & memory card problems?

I have been using an LG Neon (unfortunately!) for several months with a 4GB Kingston Micro SD HC memory card.  I have had no problems with it until now.  Two nights ago a friend and I were taking pictures and all of a sudden something popped up (I didn’t read it in time) and now my memory card is “not supported”.  When I push it into the phone it doesn’t even show anymore that a memory card is inserted.  Any ideas what’s going on?  Thanks in advance.

Re: Aria, Stopping Music

That’s how its designed to work.  The app is not really running, just taking up space in memory.  And the way Android works, it actually does not benefit you to have memory free, just for the sake of having it free.  Android will kill the process if/when the memory is needed by another process.   So I wouldn’t worry about exiting the music player.

HTC Freestyle Memory full message when it isn’t

I keep getting a message that says my memory is full and it can’t store anymore text messages. I deleted over 1000 texts and some pictures and I am still getting the message and can’t receive any texts. Is there a way to fix this??

Re: HTC Freestyle Memory full message when it isn’t

Try powering the phone off and then back on to see if the memory problem is corrected. Or pulling the battery out of the back of the phone while it is turned on.   You could also leaf through your phone’s memory and see what is taking up unwanted space. It would be located in the phone’s settings.

New LG Android Release(s) – LG Phoenix/Thrive

Greetings LG board viewers,   It has come to my attention that a new LG smartphone is coming to AT&T on this Sunday, April 17, 2011. The name(s) of this new Android-powered smartphone are the LG Phoenix and the LG Thrive. They are basically the exact same phone, except that the Thrive is for prepaid GoPhone customers only (like myself) and the Phoenix is for regular postpaid customers. The Thrive will cost $179.99 on a prepaid account, no contract required. The new Phoenix will cost $49.99 with a qualifying new two-year contract. The Thrive comes in a silver color, and the Phoenix in a dark blue.   The LG Thrive is the first smartphone to be intended for AT&T’s prepaid customers only. However, in order to get a new Thrive, you will now be required to add a prepaid data plan to your account… The plans are $25 for 500MB, $15 for 100MB, and $5 for 10MB. This is the first “forced” data plan for prepaid customers, essentially, not a good thing. But when you look at the bright side, the prepaid data packages have been improved. The old packages were $4.99 for just 1MB of data, and $19.99 for the same 100MB plan (now $4.99 cheaper).   A full line of specs for these phones include…   * Android 2.2 platform * HSDPA 7.2 3G data speeds * 600MHz application processor * 3.2″ 320 x 480 262k color full-touch display * Wi-Fi/aGPS capable * 160MB User Memory w/ microSD storage (up to 32GB) * 2GB microSD card installed * 3.2MP Auto-focus camera * Stereo Bluetooth * Quad-band GSM / Tri-band 3G (world capable) * 1500 mAh long-life battery * Text/Picture and Video Messaging support * POP3/IMAP/Gmail/EAS email support   Additional information for the new LG Phoenix/Thrive can be found here:   http://m.engadget.com/default/article.do?artUrl=http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/12/froyo-based-lg-thrive-becomes-atandts-first-prepaid-smartphone-s/&category=classic&postPage=1   http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=19623&cdvn=news&newsarticleid=31797&mapcode=consumer%7Cmobile-devices   http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-thrive-and-lg-phoenix-announced-bring-affordable-and-prepaid-smartphones-att
