My phone has been acting screwy lately. The phone has been going blank for up to 24 hours on end, just a white screen, and recently, the touch screen has just stopped wroking completely. My charger hardly fits properly and sometimes my screen appears upside down, backwards, or when I press “Messaging” it directs me to “IM”. I can only navigate my phone through the arrow keys on my phone, which leaves me to very little actual access to my phone. I can only call or text numbers that I remember off of the top of my head. I researched around, and I found that the Quickfire was recalled (or “discontinued”, whatever)! I had absolutely no knowledge of this, but I realize now I’m not the only one with these issues! I got my phone in September of 2009, andd according to AT&T policy I should still be under warranty (365 days from new phone purchase) but when I try to do the online warranty exchange, it directs me to troubleshoot. Well, the troubleshooting link doesn’t even appear on my phone’s page. I am at a loss of what to do. If I went to an AT&T store, would I be able to get a replacement since I had no knowledge of the discontinuation?
