Re: LG Neon Bluetooth support for laptops?
May 6th, 2011
jedwan They are two methods to transfer your contacts to an AT&T LG NEON II. The first is to use BLUETOOTH connection between the two phones or using the USB connection cable to your PC. In my case I have two LG phones. Sprint RUMOR 2 and AT&T LG NEON II they are very similar phones. Start by paring the two cell phones. Next select “ contacts ” on the source phone, next select “ options ” then select “ send contacts ” next select “ all ” then select the destination device (in my case it was the LG370 ) . Next select “ ok ” . You will see your contacts been transferred providing you acknowledge that it was OK to accept them on the destination device. You can also accomplish contact transfer by using the DATA cable. They are no drivers for the LG NEON II. To communicate with this phone you must do the following: Go to the “ Menu ” and scroll down to “ settings ” then scroll down to “ connection ” select “ USB Connection Mode ” then select “ Mass Storage ” (Please note that you must have a SD memory card installed to access the memory management) Let us pause here and set up the contact files. Launch Microsoft Outlook or similar program that can create vcards. I used outlook 2003. Click on New an untitled contact will open. Fill in the necessary information. For example name, home & cell phone numbers. Let go back to the cell phone connection. Connect the data cable to the cell phone and PC in a few seconds’ windows will ask you how you want to view the contents on this device. You will select view folder then navigate to the Other Files . Windows will assign a drive letter for this removable device. Now you can go back to outlook vcards under “ File ” you will select Save As. For the save in location you will select the Other Files on your cell phone. Change Save as Type to (vcards files *.vcf) then type the file name you want and then click SAVE . The file will be saved on the cell phone. You will need to do this for all of your contacts. When you finish all of your contacts you can disconnect the USB connection. Please use the safe disconnecting procedure of a removable device to prevent damage to you cell phone. With your phone disconnect from the PC check your contact list. If all of you contact are there you are good to go. If they are not, do not panic just do the following. Go to My Stuff select Other Files you should be able to see all of your contacts file with the .vcf ending. select one at a time and make sure the display field is fill out (with the name you would like to display) then click on save. This action will put them into your active contact list. LGE PC SUITE & DRIVERS LG GR500R XENON allows your LG NERO phone to connect to your Laptop via Bluetooth.

Most people who use HTC phones, and want more performance without the at&t bloatware, hop over to the xda-developers site, blow out the stock ROM and install a custom version. Of course, you void your warranty, but I’ve blown my fuze rom and now the tilt2 hundreds of times between the two and never had an issue. Not so sure if you void your warranty IF you know how to revert back to stock :smileywink:
Palm Pixi now $50 on Sprint
February 28th, 2010
admin Likely a direct counterstrike to Verizon’s $79.99 Pixi Plus , Sprint has dropped the retail price of its original WiFi-less Pixi all the way down to $49.99 after $100 mail-in rebate on a new two-year contract. As you might recall, the Pixi debuted at $100, but now that the Pre’s leaving it in the dust with both high-quality gaming and Flash support, a little more price separation between the two makes a lot of sense. Alright, Sprint, strong work — now you’ve just got to drop the Pre a few bucks to distance it from Verizon’s Pre Plus and you’ll be good to go.
