What gives with the HTC Inspire camera specs? It’s adverstised as having an 8 Megapixel camera but that is not what the resolutions tell me. I have a Nokia N900 and its 5 MP camera’s maximum resolution tells me it is 4.9 Mp and I have a Kodak point and shoot 10 MP camera and its maximum resolution tells me it is 9.9 something MP but my HTC Inspire maximum resolution is 3264×1952 and that is definitely NOT 8 MP but only 6.4 MP and its next lowest setting of 5 MP is really only 4 MP so AT&T what gives with advertising the Inspire as having an 8 MP camera?

Re: using comcast internet

admin Brenda, I’m pretty new here and also new with my HTC Inspire, but I might be able to help you with this. From the Home Screen, tap on “Menu” Select “Settings” The second entry from the top is entitled ” Wireless & Networks”. Tap that. Select “Wi-Fi settings” That will show you all of the wi-fi connections available within reach in your area, and you should be able to recognize your wi-fi by its name. I am assumming that you have service from Comcast, and your own home wi-fi router. When you see your wi-fi name, tap that. You will be given an opportunity to connect. You will be asked for your WEP key and you must be sure to select the correct channel ( 1 through 4 ) If in doubt, look at your wi-fi router and see what channel is being used. When properly connected to your wi-fi, you will see a symbol with a dot , half surrounded by parts of a circle. ( reminds me of what it must look like if you’d look directly down from on high on an amphitheater ) This will appear at the top middle ( slightly right of middle ) of your home screen every time you are connected to your wi-fi system. At that point you will not be using your data from your phone provider. I hope this helps. If not, I’m sure that some more qualified individual on the forum will jump in. Good luck. You’ve purchased a great phone. IMO Hanagan Wheaton, IL.

Facebook 2.0 finally brings push notifications to Windows Phone 7
July 3rd, 2011
jedwan On the heels of yesterday’s release of Mango for the developers out there, Facebook has finally dropped version 2 with support for push notifications — Toast and Live Tile . For those of you that’ve been waiting with baited breath, included are notifications for: messages, wall posts, feed comments and replies, photo tags and replies, or in short about everything your addiction requires. We’ve not had a chance to light our screens up with this just yet, so why not be a dear and give it a go and let us know what you think.
