I know that Incite is infamous for its screen problems, but, perhaps, there is a way solve my problem, without ditching the phone. The screen suddenly stopped responding when it was locked and nothing (e.g. taking the battery out, soft reset, power button, etc) short of hard reset could make it respond again. After hard reset the phone went into the screen alignment mode and no matter how many times I tap on the cross-hair, the alignment screen just keeps on popping anew. I flashed the ROM with the updated ROM from LG (still Windows 6.1). The new ROM installed flawlessly, but, again, no way to get past the screen alignment mode. Does anyone know if there is an option for Incite to skip the screen alignment step and start using the phone? I am willing to try anything reasonable.
