I recently purchased an LG Neon from Radio Shack because I was able to upgrade. I’ve had the phone for a few days and had some issues but they were minor; that is until I figured out I can’t send or receieve picture messages. I went through the various tutorials provided on this website and nothing really worked. I noticed I had no “E” by my signal icon. I was always under the impression that picture messaging fell under the unlimited messaging plan purchased with the phone. The Sales Rep also told me this phone was 3G, but when I powered up the phone I didn’t have the 3G icon like I had on my previous phone. (I switched to this phone because it’s easier for me to message with a keyboard instead of using touchscreen.)

Anyways, I have a couple of questions, if you can answer them I’d greatly appreciate it:

1) Is there any way I can send picture messages through this phone if I don’t have the internet on it as well as messaging?

2) Is IM messaging services like AIM, MSN, or Yahoo! covered under my Unlimited messaging plan I have on this phone if it’s ALREADY installed on the phone itself?

3) If I were to decide to take this phone back, would I be able to upgrade again and get the discounted phone prices offered with upgrades?
